OurStage - Let the fans decide!!!
Battle Cry is now competing on OurStage which is a really cool site for bands to promote themselves and network with fans, friends, and other bands. We have 2 songs, Battle Cry and The Battle Cry of Freedom in the Metal category and 1 song, Osiris in the Instrumental category. So, sign up and vote for your favorite band (even if it's not us). You migh even discover some really cool music you would never have heard of.

I'll start with family first. For those that don't already know, I am now a dad!!! Sherri and I had our baby Abigail Fay Lane on December 17 2007, weighed in at 6 lbs 11oz and measured 19 1/4 inches.
I should have posted this immediately, but as anyone who has experienced new parenthood knows, it tends to immediately rearrange your priorities, schedule, activities, and life in general. I also would like to wish my mom, Barb a Happy Birthday today!!!
- As for Battle Cry, we are still working on the CD!!! It is coming this year!!! Matt Aub is writing lyrics and recording vocals for the songs he's doing and then we can mix and master this baby and release it!!! Check back here for details.
- As for Trevor Lane & The Spirit of the Wild, I have to put this project on hold indefinitely. See the part above about new parenthood.

A Sad Loss...
This past Monday, a good friend of everyone in the Colorado Music "scene" passed away. Mike Pittman (Hellstrum, ex-Distant Warning)was a great friend of ours, always supportive, and encouraging. He will truly be missed by everyone who's life he has touched. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Pittman family.
